1. Dr. Kamini Rao, is known for her tremendous contribution to the field of assisted reproduction.  Dr. Kamini is based out of Bangalore and is the founder and director of Milann, the Bangalore-based assisted conception center.  Dr. Kamini has contributed by establishing South India’s first semen bank.  Dr. Kamini Rao Specialized in Reproductive Endocrinology, Assisted Reproductive Technology and, Ovarian Physiology.  Her contributions have enabled the birth of India’s First Sift Baby, South India’s first babies born with the help of ICSI (Intra Cytoplasmic Sperm Injection) and through laser-assisted hatching.  Over the past 30 years, Dr. Kamini has taught and trained fertility specialists and is the last ray of hope for thousands of infertile couples out there.

Dr. Sivaramakrishna Iyer Padmavati, was known for her contributions in the field of cardiology.  She was one of India's first few women cardiologists and was the founder of All India Heart Foundation. She was the one who along with the Medical Council of India established the degree of medicine for Cardiology in India.  The legendary Dr. SI Padamavti is the one who had set up India’s first cardiology department in G. B. Pant Hospital.  If it wasn’t for her, the cardiology department in hospitals would’ve not existed to date.  She with her expertise and experience managed to revolutionaries the cardiology wing in India.  She was awarded by the third highest civilian honor, Padma Bhushan in the year 1967 and by the second-highest civilian honor, Padma Vibhushan in the year 1992 for her contributions to the healthcare industry.

Dr. Devi Prasad Shetty, is known for his excellent contributions in the field of cardiology and providing high-quality but affordable health care services.  Dr. Shetty is the one who gave birth to the idea of micro health insurance to help the poor to have an access to good health care facilities.  He is a panelist on the discussion related to the formulation of national health care policies and devising solutions for the provision of affordable healthcare services in India.  He has contributed a great deal in making use of technology in the healthcare industry to provide cost-effective health care solutions. 

4. Dr. Alla Gopala Krishna Gokhale, is known for his contribution in the field of lung and heart transplant.  Dr. Gokhale performed India’s first-ever heart and kidney combined transplant. He performed the first-ever robot-assisted cardiothoracic surgery successfully at Apollo Hospitals, Hyderabad.  Dr. Gokhale has supported the education of poor children and has established Sahrudaya health, Medical, and Educational Trust to help financially weak patients undergo heart surgeries. 

5. Dr. Indira Hinduja, is known for her contribution to the field of gynecology and infertility. She has pioneered the Gamete intrafallopian transfer (GIFT) technique that resulted in the birth of India’s first-ever GIFT baby.  Back in 1986, she helped in delivered India’s first test-tube baby. She turned out to be a blessing in disguise for patients with premature ovarian failure, by developing an oocyte donation technique.  She has been awarded various accolades including the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Federation of Obstetric and Gynecological Society of India, the Padma Shri award, the Dhanvantari Award by The Governor of Maharashtra, etc. for her contributions to the healthcare industry. 

6. Dr. Ramakanta Panda, also known as the “surgeon with the safest hands” is one of the finest surgeons in the world.  He is the Chief Consultant for Cardiovascular Thoracic Surgery and the Vice Chairman and Managing Director of the Asian Heart Institute.  He believes in bringing and putting to use the best medical technology in India.  Dr. Panda is credited for introducing "total arterial revascularization" to the Indian Healthcare industry.  The bypass surgeries performed by him have a success rate of 99.6%, which is by far the best success rate.  He has been honored as the “No. 1 Heart surgeon and one of the 25 living legends of the Indian Healthcare Industry” by Medgate.
